“This land is my Land this Land is your land….”  

Do we still live PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN??  

Do we and children eagerly share with others just how wonderful and particularly exceptional South Africa is? Moreover – do we consciously communicate with Children, at home and at school about all the aspects of being South African and why we must be IMMENSELY proud to be part of what other countries refer to as the “Powerhouse of Africa!!” 

We commence this age appropriate presentation of this most imperative subject by understanding what are the numerous aspects that children can identify with and recognise as exclusively South African. 

To accomplish this, we take special care to amongst others, explore the following: 

• THIS is where all humanity began when Mrs Ples was discovered in the Cradle of Human Kind 
• In which Town or City do I stay? 
• Naming our Provinces and in which one do I stay? 
• What is each Province known for? – e.g. Gold in Gauteng en Maze from the Free State 
• The South African Flag and what each Colour symbolises 
• Our National Anthem  
• The National Fauna and Flora 
• Our various Capital Cities 
• Agriculture 
• South African Money and the how visually disabled people can identify notes and coins. Which animals appear on each note and coin AND which world famous and most loved South African’s face is on the Notes? 
• National Sport we play 
• Even our weather makes South Africa a fantastic place to stay and a reason why Tourists flock to our country 

We expand on this by discussing the most important part of making us proud of being South African – OUR BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!! 

• We are indeed the Rainbow Nation living in one of the most cosmopolitan Countries in the World – Who are we? 
• We have 11 official languages and which ones are they? Which Language is mostly spoken? 
• Do only people born in South Africa stay here? 
• What do South Africans mostly love to eat and drink?  
• Which different cultures do we have? 
• How do the different cultures dress? 
• Why do people from other Countries want to rather live in South Africa than their own Countries? 
• We are undeniably the most friendly people!! 
• OOOEE and don’t forget our AWSOME sense of humour that only South African’s understand no matter where they travel – Eish…. 

During our animated and spontaneous My Country South Africa presentation we endeavour to address the most inclusive variety of reasons we have to eagerly tell each person, South African or not, why I DON’T WANT TO LIVE IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY THAN MY COUNTRY SOUTH AFRICA!! 

Our ultimate aim is to bring to heart to Children of all ages that if THEY live Proudly South African from the earliest age, it will have a vast positive influence on how they conduct themselves as adults and even in making a positive contribution to all facets of this Country and especially our economy.
