Love our earth

We cannot survive on any other planet, BUT we keep on chopping down forests, buying more and more cars, spilling oil and mining waste in our rivers and oceans, erecting more and more antennas, launching more and more satellites, building more buildings and thereby destroying habitats and causing extinction of numerous species, adding daily to the huge rubbish dumps where Humans and Animals have to live off our garbage!  

When will it stop??  

• WHEN WE OPEN A TAP AND THERE IS NO WATER?  
• WHEN WE HAVE TO WEAR OXYGEN MASKS DUE TO POLLUTION AND LACK OF TREES AND PLANTS? 
• WHEN I GO TO THE SHOP WITH A BAG FILLED WITH MONEY BUT THERE’S NOTHING TO BUY? 
• WHEN WE HAVE NO FRUIT OR VEGETABLES TO EAT BECAUSE WE KILLED ALL THE BEES? 
• WHEN I DO NOT HAVE ELECTRICITY ANYMORE DUE TO THE OVER MINING OF COAL? 

• WHEN THE EARTH HAS NO MORE SPACE FOR ALL THE PEOPLE? 

During our animated and spontaneous Love our Earth Presentation we explore a variety of extremely interesting facts on an age appropriate level regarding the reality of just how quickly and to what extend we are destroying our lovely Earth and also ask very pertinent questions such as: 

• Does Global Warming really exist and how “far away” is it from us in South Africa? 
• How has the oxygen levels been depleted and where are we heading? 
• Will the Sun “burn out”, and then…….? 

• Are Bees really that important, after all they only sting people? 
• I can still buy lots of food – is there really a problem?? 
• Aren’t people moving to Mars one of these days? 
• What is recycling and how will it help the Earth? 

So, now that I know all these facts, how can I make a difference, I am just a child?? 

Here, most importantly, we explore the various ways in which even the smallest child can make a positive difference towards the survival of Earth and to ensure that we will  still have fresh air to breathe, water to drink, oceans and dams to swim in, food to eat, and walk in the outdoors without being scourged to death.
