Fish Friends

Two Thirds of the earth comprises of water – this means more than 70% of all animal life is underwater!!!! A huge variety of plants and animals survive in this underwater-world; from microscopic small algae, or plankton to the ENOURMAS Whale weighing 150 Tons.

We learn about the anatomy of a Fish, how they move, there feeding habits and habitat:

  • Not all fish survives in the same type of water, for example in the Ocean the levels of salt and oxygen differs which means certain fish are only found in specific areas

Our friend Peter who visits his Grandfather at the Ocean, teaches us not to litter in dams, rivers and on the beach with sweet rappers, cold drinks bottles and alike as our laziness can seriously influence the water and the Ocean.

The Oceans influence our climate and together with dams and rivers, provide with essential water and food.  Each year about 70 million tons of fish is caught just in our Oceans, more than all the meet and eggs produced on earth.

We explore who are the enemies of the Fish and the most important of all, how do we conserve them and how each child can make a difference to ensure that Fish stay part of our wonderful earth!
